Radiators can be used in low temperature water heating plants of an open system meeting the requirements of PN-091/B-02413 or close system plants meeting the requirements of PN-091/B-02414, in which materials having contact with water and the quality of water comply with the requirements of PN-93/C-04607.
Steel radiators are intended to be used only in a central heating system.
Radiators should be installed in utility rooms without contact with a caustic environment.
Installation
Radiators are equipped with two 1/2” diameter connection pipes. Each radiator is equipped with a cap, vent and a set of fasteners. Arrangement of the radiator in the room should correspond to the central heating system design. It is recommended to install the radiator at the lowest level possible while maintaining its function of a dryer, however, at least 100 mm from the floor.
Maintenance
There are no specific requirements for radiators with standard (powdered paint) coatings. It is not acceptable to clean the radiators with abrasive pastes and preparations, etc. Particular care should be exercised when cleaning patina or brass coatings due to its layer of varnish protecting the brass from oxidation.
Water and mild detergents are recommended for care.
It is absolutely not allowed to use aggressive liquids intended for cleaning washing facilities, petrol, solvents, etc.
